While Hermes is known for their incredible colors, their selection of blues alone spans over forty shades. Some hues such as Blue Jean and Blue Marine are produced for decades, while other shades are more elusive, only popping up for one season before seemingly disappearing entirely. Bleu Nuit, Hermes' latest addition to their stable of blue, translates in English to Blue Night, and a name could not be closer to the reality of this near-navy black. But navy or black it is not, as in person the strong undertones of some sharpie-esque purple flash out as the light moves over the leather.
