First introduced in 2015 Cactus was the first and is still the only shade of exotic bright green Hermes produces in a matte finish. For years it was only available in Matte Alligator, and very few bags were produced, though recently Hermes has introduced a shiny Cactus as well. The best way to describe this shade is Kelly Green, although it's obvious why Hermes went with a different name. This 35cm Birkin is a pristine example, featuring the more desirable gold hardware, making this bag in effect a matte version of the ultra-rare Vert Emerald and Gold combo that so many collectors desire. Still today, Cactus is very rarely seen, and distinctly stands out from any other green Birkin.
